This commercial is a parody of the famous 1984 Apple Super Bowl commercial - which itself was based on the novel Nineteen Eighty Four. We see a bunch of people staring at a huge screen with people giving stereotypical, American Idol-like comments to bad singers. From the background, a woman carrying a microphone stand (like the woman carrying the sledgehammer in the Apple ad) comes running in with guards chasing her. She throws the microphone at the screen and it knocks it down revealing famous music stars Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Nettles, Lionel Richie, and Robin Thicke behind it. For me it was just a little pitchy. Allow me to apply some superlatives to your performance: atrocious, horrendous, truly terrible. Do you know this is a singing contest? In a landscape were music shows are all the same... It was alright, it was alright, but something was missing for me dog. I've heard 911 calls with more tonality. ...one will break through.
