The series centers on a galactic struggle for dominance between three species-the adaptable and mobile Terrans, the insectoid Zerg, and the enigmatic Protoss-in a distant part of the Milky Way galaxy known as the Koprulu Sector at the beginning of the 26th century.

Kingdom Hearts is a series of action role-playing games developed and published by Square Enix (originally by Square). It is a collaboration between Square Enix and Disney Interactive Studios, and is under the direction of Tetsuya Nomura, a longtime Square Enix character designer. Kingdom Hearts is a crossover of various Disney settings based in a universe made specifically for the series. Characters from Square Enix's Final Fantasy series and The World Ends with You make appearances and interact with the player and the Disney characters. The series centers on the main character Sora's search for his friends and his encounters with Disney, Final Fantasy and The World Ends With You characters on their worlds.

Kid Icarus (known in Japan as Hikari Shinwa is a franchise of fantasy video games by Nintendo. The games are set in a fantasy world, based on classical antiquity and Greek mythology, called "Angel Land". The gameplay consists of a mixture of action, adventure, and platform elements; however The Kid Icarus franchise is known as a cult classic and sibling series to the Metroid franchise.
