The Pirates movie series is a series of adult (XXX) films loosely based on the Pirates of the Caribbean movie series. It is well known due to it's high budget and high quality (in comparison to other films in the adult genre) and due to the fact that there are edited "R" rated versions of the movies.

D-TV was a series of music videos created by Walt Disney Productions in 1984 using popular music and footage of vintage Disney animation, created out of the trend of music videos on cable channel MTV, which inspired the name of this series. The videos were shown as filler material on the Disney Channel (as the network did not air commercials at this time), as well as being the focus of televisions specials. Home video collections were also released on the VHS, Beta, CED Videodisc, and Laserdisc formats[by whom?]. After the first run of D-TV, in 1989 a second series was produced known as DTV2.

Maneater Series is the name, logo and line look given to a series of made-for-television natural horror films on DVD produced by RHI Entertainment for the Sci Fi Channel, now called Syfy, and distributed by Vivendi Entertainment. The Maneater Series logo and line look were created under the direction of Danny Tubbs Executive Director, Creative Services Vivendi Entertainment. Per the deal, made in October 2006, the first ten films would premiere on the US based channel in 2007,[1] however the first six films in the series actually premiered in Canada on the video on demand channel Movie Central on Demand first due to a pre-licensing agreement.[2][3] Most of the early films in the series were filmed in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.[4] Since it was original started, however, RHI has continued adding new films to the series, most of which continue to premiere first on Syfy before being released to DVD.
