Two of these mice, a hesitant Bernard and the elegant Miss Bianca, set about rescuing Penny, a kidnapped girl, with the help of a comical albatross and the various animal inhabitants of the bayou where Penny is being held.

The Hunchback of Notre Dame is a 1996 animated feature produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation and released to theaters on June 21, 1996 by Walt Disney Pictures. The thirty-fourth animated feature in the Disney animated features canon, the film is inspired by Victor Hugo's The Hunchback of Notre Dame. While the basic structure remains, the film differs greatly from its source material. The plot centers on the Gypsy dancer, Esmeralda; Claude Frollo, a powerful and ruthless judge who lusts after her; Quasimodo, the protagonist, Notre Dame's kind-hearted but deformed bellringer, who adores her; and Phoebus, the chivalrous if irreverent military captain, who holds affections for her.

The thirty-fifth animated feature in the Disney animated features canon, the film was directed by Ron Clements and John Musker. The film is based on the legendary Greek mythology hero Heracles (known in the film by his Roman name, Hercules), the son of Zeus, in Greek mythology.

Lilo & Stitch is a 2002 American film. The 42nd animated feature in the Disney animated features canon, it was released by Walt Disney Pictures in June, 2002. An extra-terrestrial mad scientist named Dr. Jumba Jookiba is put on trial by a galactic governing body, headed by a Grand Councilwoman, for creating illegal genetic experiments. The council is shown the creature, Experiment 626, and are appalled by it's aggresive tendencies. Jumba tells the council that 626 is bullet proof, fire proof, extremely intelligent, can see in the dark and possesses super strength but his only instinct is to destroy. Jumba is sent to Prison and 626 loaded onto a transport vessel to take 626 to a desert asteroid, where he was banished by the council. However, he escapes his holding cell, steals a police cruiser, and engages its hyperdrive; sending him hurtling towards earth while the people trying to stop him narrowly escape the ensuing blast from the jump. His pod crashes onto Earth. On the run, he passes himself off as a dog on Earth. He is accidentally run over by a transport ruck and knocked unconcious, while the driver takes him to the animal shelter, amazed that the impact didn't kill him. Meanwhile, a little girl named Lilo Pelekai who is living with her 21-year-old sister Nani, as their parents have recently died in a car accident. Lilo is lonely and a bit of an outcast. Her friends don't seem to include her in their gang, and in rage she punches one of them. A social worker named Cobra Bubbles is monitoring Nani's progress, as he is concerned that her parenting techniques do not meet the standards required to raise a child and Cobra's organization is considering putting Lilo into foster care. Nani is fearful of this, as Lilo is the only family she has left, and vice versa. Lilo doesn't help, as she doesn't really know what may happen. To try to help, Nani takes Lilo to the animal shelter, so she can adopt a dog, and she finds 626. Stitch discovers that he is being watched by Jumba and Galactic Agent Pleakley, who have been assigned to recapture 626 without being detected by humans in exchange for Jumba's freedom - who had arrived soon after him. Lilo mistakes 626 for a dog - whom she names "Stitch." She identifies with Stitch's strong antisocial tendencies, and the two form a bond immediately. Unfortunately, his violent behaviour eventually costs Nani her job. Stitch initially attempts to escape the island but finds that it is impossible because he is afraid of the water, and cannot swim since his body is too dense. Stitch resigns himself to stay with Lilo. Pleakley is both a guide and Jumba's supervisor, to ensure Jumba does not escape should he fail to recapture Stitch. Lilo notes Stitch's violent tendencies and attempts to teach him to relax, holding up her favorite musician Elvis Presley as a model example of behavior.

The Fox and the Hound is a 1981 animated feature produced by Walt Disney Productions. The film centers around the story of two unlikely friends, a hound dog and a fox, who struggle to preserve their friendship despite their emerging instincts.

Old-fashioned cowboy doll Woody is coordinating a reconnaissance mission around his owner Andy's birthday party in the days before Andy's family move to their new house. To Woody's dismay, Andy receives a new action figure in the form of space ranger Buzz Lightyear, whose impressive features soon see Buzz replacing Woody as Andy's favorite toy. Woody - the former de facto leader of Andy's toys - is disappointed by his replacement and resentful towards Buzz. For his part, Buzz does not understand that he is a toy. Instead he believes himself to be an actual space ranger, seeing Woody as an interference in his 'mission'.

Set in the 14th century, the newborn Princess Aurora is named after the Roman goddess of the dawn because she fills the lives of her mother and father, King Stefan and Queen Leah, with sunshine. While still an infant, she is betrothed to the also-young Prince Phillip, son of King Hubert. At her christening, the good fairies Flora (dressed in red/pink), Fauna (in green), and Merryweather (in blue) arrive to bless her. Flora gives her the gift of beauty while Fauna gives her the gift of song. But before Merryweather could give her blessing, Maleficent appears on the scene, expressing disappointment in not being invited to Aurora's christening ceremony and curses the princess to die when she touches a spinning wheel's spindle before the sun sets on her sixteenth birthday. Fortunately, Merryweather's blessing weakens the curse so that instead of death, Aurora, would fall into a deep sleep until she is awakened by true love's kiss. Though King Stefan decreed all spinning wheels in the kingdom burned, the three good fairies know Maleficent couldn't be stopped that easily and sneak Aurora away with them to a woodland cottage until her sixteen birthday lapses, passing themselves off as her aunts and swearing off magic to conceal themselves.

Long ago in a post-ice age North America, there are three Indian brothers named Kenai, Denahi, and Sitka. Denahi is the middle brother, and Sitka, the oldest. Kenai, the youngest, hates bears because they fight for the same food, overtake the land, and ruin his coming-of-age ceremony. Each brother was given his own totem when they came of age: Sitka, the eagle of guidance and Denahi, the wolf of wisdom. Kenai receiving his totem.At the ceremony, Kenai is presented with the bear of love. Kenai questions the totem he has been given with his brother by saying that "[bears] don't love anyone, they don't think, they don't feel [...]", calling them thieves when he notices the stolen fish basket. When Sitka is killed in a battle with the bear that stole the basket, Tanana, the tribal shaman, officiates a funeral rite for Sitka. Suddenly Kenai ignores the village teachings of brotherhood with animals and sets out to hunt the bear for revenge and eventually kills it. To punish Kenai, the Great Spirits, represented by the spirit of Sitka, transform him into a bear. Unfortunately his other brother, who was pursuing Kenai to stop him, doesn't realize what has happened. He finds Kenai's torn clothes and believes the bear took his other brother's life. In grief, he vows revenge. Disoriented and barely escaping Denahi's wrath by falling into the river, Kenai awakens on the shore and in the presence of Tanana, who eases him through his initial shock at his change. Although she cannot understand his bear speech, she advises Kenai to find where the lights touch the mountain so that he can ask Sitka's spirit to change him back, and then she disappears without giving him directions. To Kenai's surprise, he finds he can talk with the other animals - but the only animals who are willing to talk to him are two stupid sibling moose, Rutt and Tuke, who are more interested in cracking jokes at Kenai's claims to be a man than helping him. Along the way, Kenai meets a talkative, pesky bear cub named Koda, who claims to know the way to the salmon run where the bears gather to fish and where the lights seem to hug the mountain. What follows is a journey in which Kenai, when not dodging Denahi who is now hunting him, grows rather fond of the irrepressible Koda who he learns shares his spiritual beliefs. This in turn puts his hatred of bears in a stark perspective that forces him to reconsider, especially when he learns that Koda sees humans as the same sort of dangerous monsters as he himself once believed bears to be. This culminates when they finally reach the salmon run and Kenai has the awkward experience of being surrounded by bears. Yet, the bears quickly accept him and he in turn learns about the loving community of these animals that makes his hate seem so foolish even as he learns to enjoy himself.

The main character is Jumbo Jr., a semi-anthropomorphic elephant who is cruelly nicknamed Dumbo. He is ridiculed for his big ears, but in fact he is capable of flying by using them as wings. Throughout most of the film, his only true friend aside from his mother is the mouse Timothy, parodying the stereotypical animosity between mice and elephants.

The Aristocats is an animated feature produced and released by Walt Disney Productions in 1970. The twentieth animated feature in the Disney animated features canon, the film is based on a story by Tom McGowan and Tom Rowe, and revolves around a family of aristocratic cats, and how an alley cat acquaintance helps them after a butler has kidnapped them to gain his mistress' fortune which was meant to go to them.

Set a year after Toy Story (1995), Andy accidentally tears Woody's arm while playing with him before leaving for cowboy camp (an annual trip he makes with Woody), leaving Woody on the shelf. Woody has nightmares of becoming a disused toy, but wakes to find that Wheezy, a penguin toy that lost its squeaker, is being taken by Andy's mother to be sold at a yard sale. Woody rescues Wheezy with the help of Andy's dog Buster (who was mentioned at the end of the previous film as a puppy), but he is accidentally left behind at the yard sale and subsequently stolen by toy store owner Al McWhiggin. Buzz Lightyear and the other toys watch in horror, and Buzz sets up a rescue party with Mr. Potato Head, Rex, Slinky Dog and Hamm to bring Woody back.
