Kishore is a wealthy man always ready to help the poor. He travels to Bombay to be with his cousin Raj, who is a womanizer, and has scorned many women. Raj and Kishore go for hunting in the jungle where Raj meets a man who ask him to marry his daughter. Instead Raj kills the father and frames Kishore for the murder who is then on the run from police.

Aasha (English: Hope) is a 1980 Bollywood drama film, produced and directed by J. Om Prakash under the Filmyug Pvt. Ltd. banner. It stars Jeetendra, Reena Roy, Rameshwari in the lead roles and music composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal. The film is recorded as a "Blockbuster" at the box office. It was remade as the Telugu movie Anuraga Devatha (1982), starring N. T. Rama Rao, Sridevi, Jayasudha in the pivotal roles and in Tamil as Sumangali (1983) starring Sivaji Ganesan. Over the years, the film has become a cult classic. Director J. Om Prakash included in Aasha (1980) the first screen appearance of his grandson Hrithik Roshan.
