The Prophet (full title Kahlil Gibran's The Prophet) is a 2014 animated film adapted from Kahlil Gibran's book The Prophet. The film was produced by Salma Hayek, who also performed voice work. The production consisted of different directors for each of the film's collective essays, with animation director Roger Allers supervising and credited as screenwriter. Segment directors include Paul and Gaetan Brizzi, Joan C. Gratz, Mohammed Saeed Harib, Tomm Moore, Nina Paley, Bill Plympton, Joann Sfar and Michal Socha.

In the ruins of what was once North America, the nation Panem randomly chooses one boy and girl, ages 12-18, from the 12 districts to risk their lives in the Hunger Games, a ruthless competition in which each contestant, or tribute, attempts to kill the others until only one remains. The winner receives honor, gifts, and enough food and supplies to never worry for anything material again. The Games, while entertainment for the Capitol's citizens, are a yearly reminder to the 12 districts of their unsuccessful rebellion 74 years ago. As a sign of the Capitol's strength and power, each of the districts must sacrifice two tributes each year.

Phil drives a DeLorean to his childhood home in Tucson. He finds Mike lying in bed, seemingly dead, but he then wakes up, pranking Phil. After ruining Phil's experiment to find out if a bottled-up fart still smells after 30 years, cutting the remaining half of Phil's hair and beard, and visiting their parents' graves, Mike, whose condition is apparently worsening, asks in his "dying wish" for Phil to leave. As a parting gift, Mike gives Phil a new bottled fart labeled February 11, 2024. In return, Phil gives Mike all of his sports ball "buddies." In Malibu, the drone Gail saw returns, and the whole group finally sees it. When it passes by a second time, the survivors hold up signs of welcome and peace, but Melissa, sensing a threat, shoots it down with a shotgun. That night, Melissa is awakened by what she thinks is an intruder and almost accidentally shoots at Carol, so she is sent to the pillory. Soon after, Gail spots Pat Brown's yacht. When Phil looks through some binoculars, he sees Pat and two other survivors approaching in an inflatable dinghy, all carrying assault rifles and dressed in decontamination suits.

After neglecting his father during a wheelbarrow race, Homer makes it up to Grampa Simpson by taking him to a pub in Ireland, only to learn that pubs are not popular in Ireland anymore.
