Landline is a 2017 American comedy film written and directed by Gillian Robespierre and co-written by Elisabeth Holm. The film stars Jenny Slate, Edie Falco, Abby Quinn, John Turturro, Jay Duplass and Finn Wittrock, and follows sisters in 1990s New York City who think their father is having an affair.

Soon after her divorce, a fiction writer returns to her home in small-town Minnesota, looking to rekindle a romance with her ex-boyfriend, who is now married with kids.

The films follows foul-mouthed, money hungry, recently single teacher Elizabeth Halsey, who is at odds with her colleague Amy. Amy happens to be dating the cute new substitute teacher, Scott, on whom Elizabeth has a crush. When she finds out that his previous girlfriend was very well-endowed, she resolves to raise money to get breast implants in order to attract Scott's attention. She is later told by another colleague that the teacher with the highest class average gets an extra bonus. Her biggest competitor is, of course, Amy

Dennis Doyle is about to marry Libby, his pregnant fiancee. However, he gets cold feet and runs away during the preparation for the wedding. Five years later, his life has gone in circles ever since. When Dennis discovers that Libby has started seeing high-flying go-getter Whit, with their son, Jake, he realizes it's now or never. He finds out that Whit is running the Nike River Marathon in London, and to prove himself to his doubting friends and, most importantly, Libby and his son, he decides to run the race himself. Dennis receives motivation from his two "coaches", Gordon, his best friend who has made a hefty bet on Dennis succeeding, and Mr. Ghoshdastidar his landlord, who uses unorthodox methods of training, such as a spatula.

This Is England is a 2006 British drama film written and directed by Shane Meadows. The story centres on young skinheads in England in 1983. The film illustrates how their subculture, which has its roots in 1960s West Indian culture, especially ska, soul, and reggae music, became adopted by white nationalists, which led to divisions within the skinhead scene. In 2010, a spin-off series set three years after the film, This Is England '86, was shown on Channel 4. A sequel, set two and a half years after the previous series, This Is England '88, was broadcast in December 2011. The third and final instalment, This Is England '90, is due in 2012.

A young man moves from Montana to Florida with his family, where he's compelled to engage in a fight to protect a population of endangered owls.

Henry Roth, a marine-life veterinarian living in Hawaii, meets Lucy Whitmore, an art teacher, in a cafe one morning. They hit it off and agree to meet in the cafe the next morning. The following day, however, Lucy claims not to know Henry. The cafe owner pulls Henry aside and explains that Lucy suffers from anterograde amnesia (called 'Goldfield Syndrome' in the movie) from a car accident she was in a year earlier. Her condition has left her with no memory of anything between the day of the accident and the present, because she is incapable of converting short-term memories into long-term memories. At the beginning of each day, she loses all memory of the past day. She innocently believes every day to be October 13, 2002. Her father and brother attempt to reenact the activities of October 13th, her father's birthday, every day, to prevent her from suffering from learning about the accident.

After Bubbie's death, the entire Botwin family sits shiva (the Jewish period of mourning) for seven days. Nancy is then sent to the border by Guillermo on a smuggling mission and takes Andy with her. Meanwhile, Celia continues to work with Captain Till against Nancy, and Doug finds refuge with the Botwins. Lenny decides to sell the house.

Vince's fling with a "cruelty-free" vegan named Fiona-and her friendship with a laid-back L.A. "sherpa" -brings unexpected karma to the entourage. Eric pushes a promising new script set in Queens.
