This is a film about a small white dog named Bolt who, having spent his entire life on the set of a television series, thinks that he has super powers. When he believes that his human, Penny, has been kidnapped, he sets out on a cross-country journey to "rescue" her.

Set in 1962 Baltimore, Maryland, the film follows the "pleasantly plump" teenager Tracy Turnblad as she simultaneously pursues stardom as a dancer on a local TV show and rallies against racial segregation.

The Mole Women become trapped in the bunker when Kimmy's stepdad fails to properly guard the hatch door and begin to argue. Jacqueline and Lillian attempt to travel to Indiana to support Kimmy, but struggle to make it out of New York as neither of them drive. Eventually, Jacqueline uses knowledge from her Native American heritage to navigate them to Indiana. Meanwhile, the Mole Women make up and work together to escape the bunker themselves. The Mole Women head back to the trial and use a tape of the Reverend found in his bunker to win the case. Jacqueline decides to return to her home in South Dakota. Dong gets married to Sonya from GED class to avoid being deported. Titus's estranged wife finds him after seeing his YouTube video.

Leslie faces off with Councilman Jamm on a park proposal. Laid-off Ben gets a new hobby, before accepting a job offer from an accounting firm that has been courting him for two years. Tom, April and Donna help Ron sell his cabin. Chris gets Leslie to finally come to terms with his and Ann's move to Michigan.

Reagan, Chris and Scott get invited to join Gene and Terry at their mountain cabin for their annual "Family Funlympics." Meanwhile, when Reagan decides she needs to leave the cabin to go and check up on Ava, she is shocked to learn that Ava has new friends.

Marty and the Pod travel to New York to consult for MetroCapital, a mega-bank that is looking for a plan to unscrupulously justify taking their year-end bonuses as the financial world around them burns. Unfortunately, Marty makes an enemy out of MetroCapital's number two guy Greg Norbert in the process because April, the stripper/call girl he attempts to pass off as his wife, has sex with Greg's sexually repressed wife. Their biggest business rivals -- run by his ex wife with whom he continues to have sex with sometimes -- are also offered the job. They manage to get hired by inventing a debt cancellation campaign which will have a big publicity impact but cost very little. Back at home, Marty gets some unwanted advice on how to raise his son Roscoe from Jeremiah Kaan, Marty's live-in father, when Roscoe decides to audition for the female lead in a school play.

Wilfred sees the perfect opportunity to solve his own frustrating problems through the use of Ryan's awkward hermit lifestyle in order to avoid his tiresome interaction with a very annoying presence within the neighborhood. Daisy lands a job in the kitchen of a restaurant, and immediately comes into conflict with the quietly evil manageress. Daisy's entire experience in the kitchen mirrors McMurphy's experiences in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Meanwhile, Brian struggles to prepare an artistic installation at a trendy gallery. In order to triumph against their foes, Tim and Mike must enter the dark underworld of Robot Wars by competing in a local group called "Robot Club", spoofing Fight Club. Plunderbird 4, Cerberus, King Buxton, Hard Cheese and Invertabrat, contestants from Robot Wars, make an appearance.
