RFK is an American TV movie directed by Robert Dornhelm released in 2002. It takes place through the eyes of Robert F. Kennedy after his brother John F. Kennedy's assassination in 1963. As he lives through the loss, he starts to identify himself as a political figure, not just the former President's brother. He makes it official with a Presidential bid in 1968 to what he says was to "save the Democratic Party." During his campaign, in which the American people showed great support for him, RFK was shot and killed by Sirhan Sirhan.

The story depicts several decades in the life of Forrest Gump, an Alabama simpleton who travels across the world, meeting historical figures, influencing popular culture, and experiencing firsthand some of the historic events of the late 20th century.

Easy Rider is a 1969 American road movie written by Peter Fonda, Dennis Hopper, and Terry Southern, produced by Fonda and directed by Hopper. It tells the story of two bikers (played by Fonda and Hopper) who travel through the American Southwest and South after selling a large score of cocaine. The success of Easy Rider helped spark the New Hollywood era of filmmaking during the early 1970s. The film was added to the Library of Congress National Registry in 1998. A landmark counterculture film, and a "touchstone for a generation" that "captured the national imagination", Easy Rider explores the societal landscape, issues, and tensions in the United States during the 1960s, such as the rise and fall of the hippie movement, drug use, and communal lifestyle. In Easy Rider, real drugs were used in scenes showing the use of marijuana and other substances.

Candy is a 1968 sex farce film directed by Christian Marquand based on the 1958 novel by Terry Southern and Mason Hoffenberg, from a screenplay by Buck Henry. The film satirizes pornographic stories through the adventures of its naive heroine, Candy, played by Ewa Aulin. It stars Marlon Brando, Ewa Aulin, Richard Burton, James Coburn, Walter Matthau, Ringo Starr, John Huston, John Astin, Charles Aznavour, Elsa Martinelli and Enrico Maria Salerno. Popular figures such as Sugar Ray Robinson, Anita Pallenberg, Florinda Bolkan, Marilu Tolo, Nicoletta Machiavelli and Umberto Orsini also appear in cameo roles.

The team re-investigates the 1968 death of a policeman who was shot in his patrol car when new evidence reveals the victim may have been set up for murder. The victim's partner sees him standing at their old patrol car.

A 75-year-old woman comes to Lilly seeking justice for her dead son, a college baseball player who was beaten to death outside a gay bar in 1964. Lilly, the victim's mother, the victim's lover, and the key witness to the crime who helped to solve the case see the victim at the crime scene. The victim and his mother exchange a smile while the victim and his lover share an embrace.
