"MINI USA | Race Car Driver | #DefyLabels" The labels I've been tagged with is "too old", "no hope", "not enough money" and a lot of others. Being 23 years old in the world of motor sports, some say that you've started too late. And I'm here to prove them wrong. So I was in design school. I was thinking to myself I was gonna design my way into motor sport. Come to find out, it wouldn't work, so I Googled "How to become a race car driver". That being said, I won a scholarship that paid for my first season in racing. My first ever race was in May of 2014. I've had one full season under my belt and 2 nominations of representing the U.S.A. in England. On any given race day, a Mini shows up, people laugh. They see a small thing, but they don't see the heart that lives inside of it. And that kind of relates to my story. I'm a small thing trying to accomplish big goals, and what I've been able to achieve in this short period of time is more or less unheard of.
