"Barclaycard Toys" This commercial shows a man going into a toy store during the Christmas season. He is overwhelmed by the huge crowds, but he walks to the back of the store where an elevator opens. He gets in, and it opens on a dark floor where he gets off hesitantly. A giant stuffed monkey starts talking to him about toy shopping, and introduces him to numerous other life-sized toys who are all alive. They all want the man to buy them including a full, adult sized Barbie doll on a scooter. The Monkey helps him navigate through all the toys including taking a ride on a giant remote controlled car, being rescued from a crash by a remote controlled helicopter, and landing on a giant whoopee cushion. In the end, the man chooses the monkey, but when he buys him and takes him out of the store, he's a normal, toy-sized stuffed monkey. Monkey: Toy shopping. Tricky innit? Don't worry, I'll make it a little easier. Come on. There you go. Pick a toy, any toy. Panda: Everyone loves a panda. Teddy Bear: What about a little hairy bear? Monkey: Anything tickle your fancy? Oh, here we go. Robot: Pick me. I have lights. I have lasers. Army Man: Oops. He's run out of batteries. If you want real action, I'm your toy. Ugh. Monkey: Come on. Army Man: I pulled a string. Monkey: What do you think, big man? Transformer: I'm a car. I'm a robot. Car. Robot. Doll: I wet myself. Monkey: Flippin' dogs. Barbie: Hey daddy. Hop on. Monkey: They're plastic. On your bike, dolly, it's for his son. Whoo hoo! What do you reckon? Duck! Aaagh! Man: He'd love this. Monkey: The expected age is 8 and over. STOP! Just give him time to think. Announcer: Choosing the right gift is never easy. Man: Okay, I've made up my mind. Announcer: Paying with Barclaycard is. Monkey: Wow! I weren't expecting that. I've got my own room, right?
