"Diner: Mercedes-Benz Super Bowl Commercial Teaser" This commercial, narrated by Jon Hamm, starts at the Napoleon House - a corner restaurant in New Orleans. A dog outside starts barking at something and the doors suddenly fly open and the jukebox turns on. It suddenly gets very hot in the little restaurant as the thermometer rises well past 100 degrees. Coffee in people's cups starts boiling, and the dishwasher is frightened by something as the lights start flickering. It's the Mercedes CLA class coming, but you can't see it until Super Bowl XLVII.

"Mercedes-Benz 2013 Super Bowl Commercial (Extended Cut): Soul" This Super Bowl XLVII commercial, narrated by Jon Hamm begins in the Napoleon House - an old corner restaurant in New Orleans, Louisiana. A young man sitting at one of the tables looks out the window a a new billboard being put up for the Mercedes-Benz CLA class of cars. When he looks back, the Devil (played by Willem Dafoe) is sitting across from him. The Devil wants the guy to make a deal to get the car and everything that goes along with it - presumably at the price of his soul. As Lucifer hands him a pen and the contract, the guy starts to think about having the Mercedes. In his fantasy, he power-slides up to the red carpet as the paparazzi camera's flash all around him. He steps out and Kate Upton pulls him over for pictures. Next, he's in a club dancing with Usher who is impressed by the guy's dance movies. He meets a bunch of girls in the club and packs them into his Benz and drives off through the desert to Las Vegas. Next he goes to several photo shoots and is featured on such magazine covers as GQ, Details, Vanity Fair, and Architectural Digest. Girls recognize him wherever he goes and he is always running to his CLA to safely get away. Part of his fantasy also includes him on an Indy / Formula 1 track speeding past the race cars. The car disappears in a puff of smoke as he snaps out of his day dream. He is about to sign the Devil's contract when he looks out at the billboard one more time, they put up the last part which shows that the price is "only" $29,900. The man says thanks, but no thanks, and the Devil disappears in a puff of fire and smoke right after his eyes turn blood red with anger. Devil: Nice car. Man: Sure is. Devil: Make a deal with me kid, you can have the car and everything that goes along with it. So what do you say? Man: Thanks, but I think I got this. Jon Hamm: This September, set your soul free.
