A Brooklyn teenager juggles conflicting identities and risks friendship, heartbreak, and family in a desperate search for sexual expression.

Paris is a musical with the book by Martin Brown, and music and lyrics by Cole Porter, as well as Walter Kollo and Louis Alter (music) and E. Ray Goetz and Roy Turk (lyrics). The musical, which premiered on Broadway in 1928, was Porter's first Broadway hit. The musical introduced the song "Let's Do It, Let's Fall in Love" sung by the show's star, Irene Bordoni. The story involves a young man from a very proper family in Newton, Massachusetts whose mother is horrified by his intention to wed a French actress.

The series follows James St. Patrick, nicknamed "Ghost", owner of a popular New York City nightclub. In addition, he is a major player in one of the city's biggest illegal drug networks. He struggles to balance these two lives, and the balance topples when he realizes he wants to leave the drug ring in order to support his legitimate business, and commit to his mistress.

Marty sleeps with a motivational trainer and still has nightmares. Later, he finally meets Roscoe's crush, Lex, who's on the basketball team with him. At Galweather, Jeannie tries to get an account with the Department of Defense. She also meets with Jeremiah, Marty and Roscoe. Sarah scares Doug when she reveals she wants a baby and she already stopped taking birth control. Monica crosses the line with a co-worker that ends violently by the co-worker sticking a knife in her leg. Clyde wants Monica to fire him but she wouldn't. In the end, Jeannie asks Marty whether he was glad to start working on his own. He starts by answering that "it would be worth if...", but then doesn't tell her that he misses her.
