Description

Frustrated with his writing, drinking heavily and bleeding from an open wound courtesy of Claire, Carroll becomes increasingly unstable, and his erratic behavior destroys morale among his followers. As Hardy and the FBI launch a raid on their compound, the cult retaliates with an attack on an evacuation center in Havenport, giving Carroll the chance to escape. Emma and Jacob recapture Claire, and with their help, Carroll spirits Claire away on a boat. Emma murders Jacob when he tries to flee. As Hardy relentlessly pursues them, Agent Parker is abducted and buried alive.
