Kitty finds out someones killed her interview with Times Magazine. Nora invites Ryan to her house. Holly discovers what Tommy's been up to and the ownership he has in Ojai Foods.

A teenage boy creates a bomb and puts it in his backpack, which is switched with a teenage girl's, with Lazarus and McLaren on the case. Sanchez and White House come across a missing child case involving a woman who was once a drug addict wanting back custody of her son, who is now under the care of a wealthy woman (Samantha Mathis). Jackpot and Khan are in charge of a prison transfer, until their transfer vehicle breaks down.

Sarah meets with Mr. Cyr to discuss Amber; Crosby must decide if he will stay with his old family or move in with his new one; Zeek tries to win Camille back.

Caitlin and Charlie fight for the attention of Caitlin's new friend. Carter, Stuart and Paul compete for a trip to New Orleans with the mayor.

Serene Andrews, a 16-year-old girl turns up at the FBI offices, claiming she may have been kidnapped 13 years earlier. When the team look into the case, they initially believe that she is mistaken, but a simple slip-up by the woman who claims to be the girl's birth mother leads them to think otherwise. The agents soon discover a network of shady adoptions, all connected to one man. Back in the office, Jack tells the team he has decided to move to Chicago. They are all shocked, but Sam is particularly devastated, leading Martin to realise the truth of Sam and Jack's past relationship.
