This commercial for Mountain Dew Kickstart begins with a man leaving his house in the morning, cracking open a can of Mountain Dew Kickstart as he waits for the bus. Once on the bus, the man drinks his Kickstart, listening to his music while looking out the window. He nods at a man on a bicycle who is passing the bus, and watches as a wall is turned into art with spray paint (artwork by Jolt, Reemo Pearson, Jordon Marxham and Chris Colbourn). The commercial is basically a music video with the artists Kid Cudi, Best Coast and Rostam of Vampire Weekend. The only way you even know it is a commercial is because of the logo at the very end (there's also the fact that all the artists are wearing Converse shoes). The commercial begins with a shot of a large red bottle of Vitaminwater Power-C. It then shows a man with a pillow for a head with huge glasses. The pillow is white with red hearts, and he is also wearing a red rob (although referred to as a Snuggy), gray sweatpants, and duck-shaped slippers. A cuckoo clock appears on the wall and a hidden door opens with a pair of oversized (compared to the pillow man) woman's legs in fishnet stockings and red high heels appears in the doorway. She kicks the man who flies up against the screen. After sliding down, he reappears laying down with a giant spoon on a couch that slides out of the wall, and then starts looking for the TV remote. An arm reaches out of the Vitaminwater bottle and hands the guy a bottle. After drinking it, he tears his robe off and is now in a suit. Errol is stuck on a boring school trip to a farm and keeps calling Andy to ask for help in escaping. Andy wants to break up with Shelly, but cannot bring himself to do it. Gwen tells Andy that Casper has left her and she admits to missing Andy. A third potential love interest, Errol's teacher, Melodie, asks for Andy's help on a school project. The Games, while entertainment for the Capitol's citizens, are a yearly reminder to the 12 districts of their unsuccessful rebellion 74 years ago. As a sign of the Capitol's strength and power, each of the districts must sacrifice two tributes each year.
