Carrie decides that the basement, where Arthur's sleeps, is too cold for him to stay during a cold snap. She sets up a temporary room for him upstairs in the office to ride out the cold spell. The below-freezing temperatures last longer than they expect, and having Arthur right across the hall is more than they bargained for. When the weather finally begins to warm up, they hope that Arthur will return to his room in the basement so they can have the upstairs back to themselves again. However, it seems that Arthur has gotten quite comfortable with the new set up and has no intentions of going back to the basement.

The Tick and Arthur are initiated into the League of Superheroes, while they at first enjoy the honor of being leagues men, they find the League isn't all it's cracked up to be. Meanwhile Captain Liberty and Batmanuel file a lawsuit against the League for discrimination.

Ashby hosts a party to celebrate the publication of Mia's book; Becca is devastated to catch Damien cheating on her. Charlie destroys his marriage. Ashby collapses at a most inopportune time.
