Stan and Hayley attempt to bond, but things are difficult due to Stan's obsession with guns and Hayley's stance against them. In the process, Hayley herself accidentally shoots Stan and paralyzes him. Meanwhile, Roger takes the ultimate revenge on Steve for eating his cookie by convincing him he's adopted and later was kidnapped by Stan and Francine.

And soon after, this very man is found lying dead as a doornail on the train tracks! Franz Eberhofer, the local policeman in the sleepy Lower Bavarian province of Niederkaltenkirchen, suspects murder. And the prospect is one that does not entirely displease him, as this backwoods offers very little excitement other than the fantastic meals with his cooking-obsessed Grandma or the constant stress with his Beatles-loving Dad. He is supported by Rudi Birkenberger, now a department store detective but previously with Franz in the Munich detective squad until both were suspended. The Hopfl case gets even more tangled when a second corpse is found, that of a drug addict hustler that Hopfl had been in contact with. As well as this, Franz must cope with the fact that his Susi is having an affair and he reckons the lover is the Thai offspring of his estranged brother who is supposed to be their babysitter.

Dogtown and Z-Boys is a 2001 documentary film directed by Stacy Peralta. Using a mix of film the Zephyr skateboard team shot in the 1970s by Craig Stecyk and more recent interviews, the documentary tells the story of a group of teenage surfer/skateboarders and their influence on the history of Skateboarding (and to a lesser extent surfing) culture. The film is narrated by Sean Penn.

EDtv starts off with the television channel True TV commencing interviews for a TV show that shows a normal person's life 24/7. This idea was thought up by a TV producer named Cynthia. They interview Ed and his brother Ray. When the producers see the interview Cynthia decides to use Ed and interviews only Ed. So now they start airing the show, which they call Ed TV. The show is a total failure at first, as only boring things happen and the main producers want to pull the plug, except for Cynthia.

On the Air Live with Captain Midnight is a 1979 movie directed by Beverly Sebastian and Ferd Sebastian with Tracy Sebastian as Marvin Ziegler, aka Captain Midnight (not to be confused with the Captain Midnight serial character from the 1930s and 1940s), who runs his own pirate radio station and becomes an underground cult hit. The film was released in 1979 although it was filmed in 1977. The film is about a teenager who has a mobile broadcast transmitter in his van that allows him to take over the airwaves as a renegade disc jockey. Veteran Los Angeles D.J. Jim Ladd co-stars in the film as a disc jockey.

The Stoned Age (also known as Tack's Chicks) is a 1994 American comedy film directed by James Melkonian, set during the 1970s about two long haired stoners named Michael Hubbs and Joe Connolly and one night cruising Southern California looking for alcohol, parties, and chicks.
