Ben wants to have his name posted on a shamrock on the wall of his favorite bar, but is disappointed to learn that it may not happen because the bar is owned by the New York Yankee Nick Swisher. Making Ben hope that he doesn't remember the time he dropped a blanket on him while he was trying to catch a fly ball during a baseball game. Meanwhile, Mia and Maddie try to avoid accompanying Vicky to a charity event.

Before Luke and Manny's first school dance Jay and Phil take them to the mall which turns disastrous. Claire is in charge of organizing the school dance and Gloria joins the committee despite Claire telling her there was enough help. Claire soons get jealous when Gloria starts taking charge and everyone really appreciates it. Meanwhile, Cameron and Mitchell discover at the playground that Lily has become a biter.

Ted takes his class on a field trip. Meanwhile, Marshall takes matters into his own hands when his boss treads too carefully in making a huge settlement with a major company.

Mia testifies for Hank's case, going on the record that she slept with Hank knowing that he was unaware of her age. Charlie gets unexpected news and learns his vasectomy may have been botched. Karen starts dating a new guy. Hank, Sasha, and Mia get to know each other a bit better.

Chris becomes friends with a German puppeteer named Fritz. While Herbert tries to warn Chris that Fritz is dangerous, Chris does not listen.

Phil finds a cow but gets upset with everyone's reaction. He then steals it so he can get attention when he brings it back, but his decision backfires on him. Later, after Todd finds the cow, Carol puts the cow in her bedroom and moves in with Phil.

Vince has an interview with Vanity Fair, with an end result even he wasn't expecting. Ari's personal and professional lives collide, and now faces a truth he's been trying to avoid for months. Taking a meeting with Melinda Clarke forces Eric to admit he's not over Sloan, but Melinda wanted more from Eric than just being his client. Drama tries to get Andrew Dice Clay back on his show, and one of them now agrees with the other's point of view.

Donna makes Cleveland and Rallo spend the night in a haunted house. Meanwhile, Cleveland's new friend goes on a murderous rampage and Roberta is stuck in love triangle between a vampire and a wolf.

Jim's enemy, a group of carjackers, crash into Mr. Litchfield, JJ's math teacher, and pierces Litchfield's aorta, prompting Stephanie and JJ to operate on him. Meanwhile, Jim starts to lose his powers, and Daphne tries to impress Brett by lying about her speaking Japanese.

After TGS goes on a forced hiatus, everyone, except Liz, thinks the words "forced hiatus" means that the show will be cancelled. So everyone, except Liz, gets to work on their Plan B for employment.

The boys regret trying to make a movie when Robby's play mate takes over. Ron befriends a police officer in the hopes of getting a free pass, all while having a scheme on the go regarding south of the border prescriptions.

Leslie's plan to bury a time capsule depicting life in modern-day Pawnee is derailed when a local man makes an unusual request and throws the project into chaos. Andy goes to Ron for advice on winning back April.

This episode features a segment that parodies the Twilight novel and film series. Daniel Radcliffe, star of the Harry Potter film series, will guest star in the segment. Hugh Laurie will guest star in a segment that parodies Dead Calm. In two other segments there will be an Office parody and another segment in which toys come to life.

Vampire Party This Big Game commercial begins with a shot of a full moon from the forest. A group of young friends are having a party in the woods around a bonfire. This isn't just any normal party though, these are vampires. One female vampire is sucking blood through a "straw" from a bag like those used for collecting blood at blood drives or blood donation centers. A guy and girl vampire then race up a tall tree with a similar effect as those used in the Twilight films. Whenever anyone smiles, we can see their fangs. The scene then changes to a guy driving an Audi S7 up the country road. He checks his fangs in the rear view mirror, and then checks the insultated container in the passenger seat that is marked as "O+ Blood" - he's the one bringing the "alcohol" to the party. As he drives up to the party location, his headlights shine on the party-goers and their eyes get very big, and they hiss in pain or anger and then start screaming and exploding into piles of dust. This happens to everyone who walks within the line of the lights from the head lights. The driver, who is busy getting the "drinks" out of the car, doesn't notice this. When he finally looks up, all he sees are ashes, clothes, and shoes laying everywhere - some of them still smoking. At the end, the driver himself walks in front of the car and explodes himself. There he is. The party's arrived. Oh, hey.
