Three Dog Night

With morale plummeting in Vietnam, President Nixon begins withdrawing American troops. As news breaks of an unthinkable massacre committed by American soldiers, the public debates the rectitude of the war, while an incursion into Cambodia reignites antiwar protests with tragic consequences.

In Los Angeles in 1975, Thaddeus Mobley (Thomas Mann) is approached by film producer Howard Zimmerman (Fred Melamed) to adapt his award-winning novel The Planet Wyh. Zimmerman introduces him to actress Vivian Lord (Francesca Eastwood), who seduces him into also funding the film, with no intention of actually making it. After learning the two have conned him, Mobley severely beats and cripples Zimmerman. In 2010, Gloria is flying to L.A. and is reading The Planet Wyh. The novel's plot is represented throughout the episode as animated segments featuring the Unit MNSKY (voiced by McGregor): a small robot that can only say "I can help!" yet can do nothing to help those around him as the world is constantly changing. Once in L.A., Gloria unwittingly checks into Mobley's former motel room and tracks down hospital-bound Zimmerman (Roger V. Burton) and a washed-up Vivian (Frances Fisher). Both of them initially deny knowing Mobley, but Vivian ultimately reveals the con to Gloria. Back in the motel room, the dual timelines mirror each other, as Mobley and Gloria prepare to leave town. Mobley vomits in the toilet, Gloria drops some makeup beside it, and both see the toilet manufacturer's name: Dennis Stussy with a faded "D". Back in Eden Valley, Gloria learns from her partner Donny Mashman (Mark Forward) that Maurice's fingerprints were identified, but he is dead. They are both slightly suspicious of the circumstances of his death and resume Ennis's murder investigation.

Lou is temporarily taken off the waffle house murder case while working a security detail for presidential candidate Ronald Reagan. Dodd and Hanzee concoct a story - about Ed Blumquist being a hitman called "The Butcher" that was hired by Kansas City to kill Rye - trying to rile Floyd into bloody action. She responds by having a group of KC men ambushed by Hanzee and Gerhardt accomplices. Hanzee kills a Kitchen brother as well as Joe Bulo, and sends the latter's head to Mike Milligan. Mike threatens Simone during their next dalliance, demanding that she spy on her family for him. Meanwhile, Dodd sends his henchman Virgil to Luverne to kill Ed, and allows Bear's son, Charlie, to accompany him. In Luverne, Peggy takes Lou's warning seriously and plans to leave for California, but Ed insists on staying, as he is invested in his life there. Peggy nearly leaves without him, but having a change of heart, sells her car to mechanic Sonny Greer to get the down payment for the butcher shop. Virgil and Charlie arrive in Luverne and botch the attempt to kill Ed - Virgil is killed, Charlie is hospitalized, and the butcher shop goes up in flames. Ed returns home to Peggy, now wanting to leave town with her, but the police arrive shortly thereafter.

Eric starts a new job, and immediately clashes with a colleague over Bob Saget, who makes a very unusual request. Vince's home is broken into, and Ari and Turtle seem to be more concerned about it than Vince. Drama tries to make amends with his boss, who just can't leave well enough alone.

Locke returns to the Others and Ben begrudgingly takes Locke to meet the Others' mysterious leader Jacob. Locke is unable to see Jacob, but can hear him, and because of this Ben shoots Locke and leaves him for dead. The survivors' mistrust of Jack peaks when Juliet is exposed as a mole; however, Juliet in turn reveals that she has been working with Jack against the Others. Flashbacks show when Ben first came to the island as a boy as part of the Dharma Initiative. Ben conspires with the Others (at least one of whom, Richard Alpert, does not age in the next thirty years) and kills most of Dharma.

Kate and Sawyer return to the beach. Hurley finds an old, abandoned van in the jungle and drives it with Charlie, Sawyer and Jin. Kate, Sayid, and Locke venture off to rescue Jack. Flashbacks show Hurley's father returning home, after Hurley won the lottery.

Earl's ex-wife marries Darnell the crab man; Randy is invited but Earl is not. Doubling the insult, Joy schedules the wedding on Earl’s birthday so that all of their friends will be unable to celebrate with him. A drunken Earl crashes the party, accidentally breaking Joy’s nose, and adds “ruined Joy’s wedding” to his list. While he is trying to help her out on plans for a second, better wedding so she would forgive him, he ends up sleeping with Joy. When Crab man hears this, he is upset at first but then forgives Earl saying "Hey, you weren't mad when I did it to you".

A college student named Brandon collapses after having sex with his fiancee. His symptoms seem too numerous to be explained by just one disease. Foreman and House each suggest different diagnoses and argue that his own respective theory better conforms to Occam's Razor. But then Brandon's white blood cell count drops, proving both doctors wrong. At the clinic pharmacy, House theorizes that Brandon was accidentally given colchicine instead of cough medicine, which explains all of his symptoms aside from his cough. House gives Brandon the cure, and he immediately begins to recover, yet the doctors are unable to find the source of the colchicine. However, when Brandon comments that his old cough medicine did not have letters on it like his current pills, House discovers colchicine pills that look similar to cough medicine, revealing the source and confirming House's diagnosis.

Four Christmases is a film about a couple pressured into visiting all four of their divorced parents' homes on Christmas Day.

"The Devil's Rejects" is the sequel to his 2003 film House of 1000 Corpses. The film is about the family of psychopathic killers from the previous film now on the run.

Wonderland is a 2003 American crime and drama film co-written and directed by James Cox, and based on the real-life Wonderland Murders that occurred in 1981. The film stars Val Kilmer, Kate Bosworth, Lisa Kudrow, Dylan McDermott, Josh Lucas, Christina Applegate, and Tim Blake Nelson. Kilmer plays the role of John Holmes, the pornographic film star, a suspected accomplice in four grisly murders committed in an apartment on Wonderland Avenue in the Laurel Canyon section of Los Angeles.

The Trip is a 2002 epic gay romance that traces the relationship between two men from their initial meeting in 1973 until 1984.
