The plot involves quantum physicist Sam Beckett leaping into a variety of different people in various points in history within the time span of his own lifetime. His only link with his own time is the cigar smoking, womanizing Al, who appears to Sam as a hologram that most people other than Sam cannot see or hear. The show overlaps a number of genres, including science fiction, family drama, comedy, social commentary and nostalgia, thereby acquiring a broad range of fans. At the end of each episode, Sam leaps into another person, giving viewers a teaser of the following episode's leap. As part of a running gag, after Sam's leap, in awe or dismay about his new situation, he often utters the catch phrase "Oh boy!".

Sesame Street is an American educational children's television series for young children, though focusing more exclusively on preschoolers in its later years, and is a pioneer of the contemporary educational television standard, combining both education and entertainment. Sesame Street is well known for its Muppet characters created by Jim Henson. Sesame Street is produced in the United States by the non-profit organization Sesame Workshop, formerly known as the Children's Television Workshop (CTW), founded by Joan Ganz Cooney and Ralph Rogers. It premiered on November 10, 1969, on the National Educational Television (NET) network, and the following year it was moved to NET's replacement, the Public Broadcasting Service. As a result of its positive influence, Sesame Street is one of the most highly regarded educational shows for children in the world. No other television series has matched its level of international recognition and success. The original series has been televised in 120 countries, and more than 30 international versions have been produced, not including dubbed versions. The series has received 109 Emmy Awards, more than any other television series. An estimated 77 million Americans have watched the series as children; millions more have watched around the world, as have their parents.

The Cleveland Show is a spin-off of the animated series 'Family Guy'. The series follows the adventures of Peter Griffin's former neighbor Cleveland Brown, who has moved to Stoolbend, VA with his son Cleveland Junior. Cleveland marries his former high school sweetheart Donna, who now has two children of her own - Roberta and Rallo.

Peter loses his job after drinking too much at a stag party and falls asleep at work. He then signs on to welfare to keep his wife Lois from finding out, but gets much more than he expected. Eventually, Lois finds out however, and Peter decides to dump the money from a blimp, at the Super Bowl. He is then arrested, and must await his family's rescue.

The Terminator series is a science fiction franchise encompassing a series of films and ancillary media concerning battles between Skynet's artificially intelligent machine network, and John Connor's Resistance forces and the rest of the human race. Skynet's most well-known products in its genocidal goals are the various terminator models, such as the original "Terminator" character.

Everyone Poops is essentially plotless. The first sixteen pages contain various prompts regarding defecation in animals such as opposites ("An elephant makes a big poop" and "a mouse makes a tiny poop"), comparisons (that various species produce various sizes and shapes of poop) and questions ("What does whale poop look like?"). On the seventeenth page, a nameless boy with black overalls and a red shirt is introduced, seen running into a bathroom. The book then goes on to explain how people of all ages, from adult to very young child, defecate, and how infants may use diapers. After that, there are only three more illustrations that lack the nameless overall-clad boy. The next page of the book, in which the child uses toilet paper and flushes the toilet, refers to the boy as "He", the only time in the story when the child is referred to as a singular entity (other accompanying images denote children in general, even though only the boy is shown). The final portion of the book explains that because every animal eats, they must therefore defecate, and the book ends with rear views of the boy and six different animals defecating and the words "Everyone Poops".
