Public support for the war declines, and American men of draft age face difficult decisions and wrenching moral choices. After police battle with demonstrators in the streets of Chicago, Richard Nixon wins the presidency, promising law and order at home and peace overseas. In Vietnam, the war goes on and soldiers on all sides witness terrible savagery and unflinching courage.

Nearly broke, the guys return to Queens. But thanks to a tip from Vince and Drama's mom, Rita Chase, Eric tries to get filmmaker Gus Van Sant to cast Vince in a role. Van Sant won't let Vince audition, leading to a confrontation between Vince and Eric; Vince fires him, and Eric returns to L.A. Later, Vince reconnects with his high-school sweetheart and Drama invests in a neighborhood bar. Turtle continues to try to maintain his relationship with Jamie-Lynn Sigler as a secret, despite the guys' curiosity. Eric's efforts turn out not to be in vain, as Van Sant forwarded Vince's reel to filmmaker Martin Scorsese, who calls Vince to say he wants Vince in the lead role of his remake of The Great Gatsby, which will film in New York City. Vince flies back to L.A. to reconcile with Eric in person.

Daniels negotiates with Burrell and secures the promise of his own major crimes unit after the Sobotka investigation ends. Sobotka chastises his son and nephew about their unauthorized smuggling deal with the Greeks; he defends his own illicit deals as a means toward regenerating the ailing dockyard. Ziggy continues to enjoy his new-found wealth. McNulty takes a personal interest in the murdered women and is pressured to find Omar for Bunk Moreland.

Carrie and Doug have some vacation time coming up, but they can't agree on where to go. Doug wants to rent an RV and travel across the country to the Grand Canyon. Carrie wants to spend a week in Paris. They flip a coin to decide on which vacation to take. Doug wins the coin toss, but Carrie has a plan to get the vacation in Paris she really wants. She invites Arthur (who is afraid to fly, therefore announces that he regrets he will not be able to accompany them - uninvited - to Paris) to join them in the RV, hoping that Doug will be miserable at the thought of spending his vacation, trapped in a motor home with Arthur. The plan backfires when Doug invites Spence to come along on the trip as well. In the end, Doug and Carrie end up staying at home while Arthur and Spence hit the road in the "Roadbird Freedom 5000".

Along the way, Hoops must find a way to write his cartoon love story.

More American Graffiti is the 1979 sequel film to George Lucas's hit film American Graffiti. Whereas the first film followed a group of friends during the summer evening before they set off for college, this film shows us where the characters from the first film end up a few years later. Mafia III is an action-adventure video game played in a third-person perspective, in which players assume control of Lincoln Clay, a Vietnam War veteran on a quest to seek revenge for his friends, who are murdered by local mobs. The game is set in 1968 New Bordeaux, a reimagined version of New Orleans, with the open world design allowing players to freely explore the game's world. Players can complete objectives using a variety of approaches. For example, players can use the weapons provided in the game, like shotguns and revolvers, to eliminate enemies. Alternatively, they can make use of stealth tactics throughout the entire mission without being noticed by enemies. The core gameplay revolves around gunplay. In addition, players can also perform executing moves and engage in melee-combat. The game also features a cover system, allowing players to take cover behind objects to avoid enemy gunfire. Players can also interrogate non-playable characters after defeating them in order to gain more information on his objectives. Players can attack and overrun locations owned by the Italian mob, and assign one of their lieutenants to operate the location.

Cool Riders is a 1995 racing arcade game. It is a spiritual sequel to Sega's OutRunners. It has a similar premise to OutRunners, though rather than drive cars, the player rides bikes. It also uses digitized graphics similar to Mortal Kombat.
